Thompson Beach House Hotel Playa del CarmenBeach is very undesirable. Pros: Staff were all very courteous, polite, extremely accommodating. Drinks at the bar were great. Food we ordered was very good. The Main House pool is much bigger/better than the Beach House. The Beach House location and general vibe is much quieter than the Main House . This was a lovely beach-side hotel with great rooms (and beds) and excellent food by the shore. The all-night pool was excellent, as was the adjacent bar.
